Merry Christmas 2009!

I want to take a minute and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. I hope you are enjoying it with family and friends and making lasting memories. My heart goes out to those in the military who are overseas and away from family. Thank you for all you do; I pray for your safe return.
For the rest of us, count your blessings. Life seems to move faster and faster so take the moment and savor it. My kids drive my schedule on Christmas and I’m expecting my day to go something like this.
- Kids drag me out of bed at 6:00 a.m.
- Breakfast of chocolates and stocking candies
- Wrestling a doll or two from the extreme Twisty-Tie packaging everyone seems to use these days.
- Helping Alex, my 3-year old, try to play with every toy at once. He hasn’t developed the skill of savoring yet.
- More chocolates for lunch
- Watching every Pixar Movie that Santa brought – napping only occasionally
- Consider changing out of my PJs
- Eating a real meal with a few relatives
- Trying to find the house again
I’m looking forward to it!
