Ashlee is currently attending Utah Valley University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science. In her free time, you can find Ashlee out hiking with her husband and dogs, watching football, or reading.

Blaine has worked at Doba since February of 2005, and leads our company in executing our strategic vision and coordinates and oversees our day-to-day operations. Blaine has a wide range of financial management, strategic and operational experience. He came to Doba from Dell’s world headquarters in Austin, Texas, where he was responsible for conducting financial/operational audits of various business segments and departments, and providing operational and business controls recommendations. Prior to Dell, Blaine served as a senior auditor with Ernst & Young where he supervised and performed financial audits of SEC and privately held companies. Blaine holds a Masters of Accountancy in Professional Accounting degree and a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. An avid athlete with five children to chase, Blaine recently tried his hand at triathloning and proudly took 6th in his age group at the Olympic-distance Spudman Triathlon in Burley, Idaho.

Brandon joined Doba in January of 2005. Previously, he worked in advertising and marketing at Harte-Hanks Communications, where he developed strategic advertising programs for Verizon, T-Mobile, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Carrier, and other large multi-national businesses. When he’s not working or spending time with his wife and four children (all boys, all under the age of 10), Brandon enjoys mountain climbing and a variety of human-powered outdoor recreation sports (in the last four years alone, he has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Elbrus, Mt Rainier, and Mt Aconcagua).

As our Fraud Prevention Specialist, Cody is responsible for ensuring that all orders placed through Doba’s award-winning platform are free of fraud and on the up-and-up. Previously, Cody worked as a call center manager for MasterCard. When he’s not working, Cody can be found alongside so many other Doba employees cheering on BYU’s football and basketball teams, as well as traveling the world.

Elwon has worked in just about every department at Doba since first joining the company in 2005. In his current role, Elwon works with our suppliers to ensure they have the diverse mix of products required by our retailer members. When he’s not working or at home with his wife and five children, Elwon – who claims to be a Ninja – can be found rehearsing for and performing in a variety of a locally produced theatrical performances and stage plays.

Jake specializes in educating retail merchants, writing articles for publication, and managing newsletters and reports to continually meet our customer’s needs. Prior to joining Doba, Jake worked as a team leader, supervisor, and trainer for Toys R Us Inc., Sinclair Oil, SBC, and AT&T. When not working Jake can be found becoming one with nature while tearing up our local canyon roads on his Harley-Davidson, or spending time with his beautiful wife and two 3-year old girls.

Jared is responsible for establishing and maintaining Doba’s strategic partnerships with leading eCommerce and Internet companies. Jared has over fifteen years experience in technology sales, marketing, business development, and channel management. Prior to Doba, Jared worked for Oracle as a CRM Software Director, for Siebel Systems in Sales, and an Executive Vice President of Sales at an eCommerce gifting company. Jared graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University in 1995. When he’s not working, Jared can be found rooting for BYU sports’ teams, taking in a concert, or helping his wife of 15 years raise their four beautiful children.

A recent college graduate (Bachelors of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah), when he’s not working, Jason can be found watching as much football as his wife will let him, or up in the mountains snowboarding at his favorite resort, Snowbird.

Jeff is responsible for all aspects of our merchandising strategy, supplier acquisition, and vertical category management and fulfillment operations. Jeff has been instrumental in development and release of our Supplier management platform, as well as nearly every other Doba product offering since 2005. Prior to Doba, Jeff was Director of Merchandising for Overstock.com, where he oversaw the growth and management of the Computer and Home Office category. Jeff, who earned Bachelor and Masters of Arts degrees in Communication from the University of Wyoming, is the father of two amazing boys and is known to root for the University of Utah (especially anytime they match up against BYU).

Jeremy Hanks, Co-founder and Board Chairman, has been instrumental in shaping our company’s direction and leading its strategic vision from day one. Prior to co-founding Doba, Jeremy founded and was President and CEO of GearTrade.com, an online marketplace for used and distressed inventory. Jeremy loves entrepreneurship, and when he’s not working on Doba-related projects, writes about entrepreneurship-related topics on his blog, Adventures in Entrepreneurship. Among his many credits, Jeremy is a Founder and Advisory Board member of the BYU Rollins Center for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and is working on LaunchUp.org – a Utah-based community resource for first-time entrepreneurs that he founded in 2009. Jeremy is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, backpacking, climbing, and mountain biking, especially with his wife Amy and their two young children, Kaitlin and Alex.

Prior to joining Doba, he worked at Sewell Direct, where he managed online marketing campaigns in SEO and PPC, sourced products, and assisted with fraud detection and prevention. When he’s not working for Doba, Jimmy spends time at home with his wife and one-year-old (with another on the way!), performs as a freelance beat boxer, and plays as much Ultimate Frisbee as his wife will let him with BYU’s traveling Ultimate Frisbee club team.

Kay is an eBay Certified Consultant and technical liaison whose knowledge, experience, and expertise helps in assisting our retail members in running successful online businesses using Doba award-winning services. Before working for Doba, Kay was a team leader, supervisor, trainer and manager for 40 years at a variety of nationally recognized companies, including Sperry Univac, Digital Equipment Corp., Digital Remote Support, SBC, AT&T, Macromedia, Sun Microsystems, and Motorola. Retired from the Utah Army National Guard after 38 years of service, Kay enjoys spending time with his 15 grandchildren and loves to build and maintain personal computers. Among his many goals is to be the first person to retire from Doba.

Ken is responsible for our corporate marketing communications and member acquisition and retention initiatives. Prior to joining Doba, Ken spent seven years in the Marketing division of Altiris (acquired by Symantec) where he more than tripled recurring customer revenues while managing Altiris’ software maintenance program. When he’s not working on our next marketing initiative, Ken can be found water skiing, backpacking, or SCUBA diving. Often accused of being a do-it-yourselfer (and sometimes to a fault), Ken holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Utah State University.

Stuart handles search engine optimization strategy and education at Doba. In the past, he has worked as Content Manager for one of the nation’s leading online advertising agencies and manager of a department store’s eBay PowerSeller account. He has also authored hundreds of articles on online business success along with several eBooks, and is the co-author of Drop Shipping For Dummies. Stuart enjoys card games, particularly poker which he first took up over 23 years ago. When opportunity permits, you can find him (not) counting cards in Las Vegas or catching one of the many great shows on the Vegas strip. Stuart also occasionally volunteers as a DJ at a local radio station.

Previously, Travis worked at D-Link as a Product Manager, and as a Systems Engineer for Infinite Solutions. An avid outdoorsmen, when he’s not working, Travis enjoys camping and snowboarding with his wife and two daughters, and is a basketball, tennis, golf, and wakeboarding enthusiast.

Tyson, who has been working for us since February of 2006, previously worked as an analyst for both eBay and PayPal where he proactively identified and combated fraudulent online transactions. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Utah, and when he’s not out cheering on his alma mater, Tyson enjoys filling his free time golfing, skiing, and long boarding the streets of Salt Lake City.

When he’s not working, Wes likes to spend time with his wife and puppy, as well as work on music-related projects that have earned him the unofficial title of “Doba’s Wizard of Rock.”
